And it was a buggy mess. Never wanted to connect, wouldnt refresh when you pulled the screen down, and at times it took forever to connect, if it ever connected at all. But after this update, and it works much better. The animations are a smooth 60fps. It connects in less than three seconds now, and the user interface looks great! Thanks Google, ?

Return (ENTER) button doesn’t work, FIX IT

After the update, the app ceased to connect through LTE. WIFI locally continues to work. Without LTE working its now essentially a Chrome Local Desktop...

The app worked with previous version but after update won’t work unless I am on same network as my computers which is worthless. Please fix this issue.

Used to work really good before the update!! Now i cant even connect through my phone while im on data( which i used to do with the older version) plz fix this !!

Just updated to latest version and can no longer control my Mac (10.13.3). You can still connect and mouse cursor moves, but on the iPad/iPhone, the image doesn’t update, it stays a static image of the first frame that was there when you connects to the Mac. Chrome and CRD on the Mac are latest version. DO NOT INSTALL!

Works great on WiFi but cannot connect to any of my computers over cellular network... it worked fine on previous version, please fix ASAP!

The newest update for Chrome Remote Desktop has made this incredibly useful app even better.

Seriously? To send a ctrl-alt-del you now need to hit menu, settings, send crtl-alt-del. So convenient and intuitive/s Also, each computer defaults to touch mode and you have to change it to trackpad on each one if that’s what you want.

I use CRD daily and the older version on iOS was extremely old and buggy. This runs @ 60fps, you can now choose between trackpad and touchscreen mode, it holds the connection while multitasking and offers intelligent iPhone X support. Thank you so much Google, i thought CRD might have been on its way to retirement internally. It’s a Fantastic tool.

Was working fine for a long time. The update from last weekend broke it. Now I login the screen on my iPad is blank or stalled with first screen. When I move mouse and click, I can see the host computer actually got them, but the screen on iPad never updates. I did go to the host computer and made sure I updated the extension as well as granting whatever new permission it asked.

The app was working great in all of my devices. After updating the app yesterday it fails to work. Every time it connects, it freezes and its unable to be used. I was so excited when I saw an update for one of my favorite apps to find out it doesnt work anymore

Google Guys & Gals, Remote connections from iOS to MacOS are STILL broken. Ditto to the other recent reviewers that end up with a static screen, only to see mouse-click or keyboard entry results after ending the remote session & re-connecting. Please fix this ASAP!

I use this regularly. At least 10 times a day. The latest update is great, it’s faster and more smooth for me. One problem is that the return (enter) key no longer functions for mobile. iPhone7+

It’s only allowed to type but you can’t send a text because Return (ENTER) button doesn’t work on iPhone keyboard. FIX IT!

No obvious way to disable the new streaming audio support. Changing cursor mode or bringing up the keyboard requires more taps than before, taking twice as long. Connection appears to no longer stop when you leave the app. It appears to be staying connected in the background, consuming bandwidth all the while. If you want to disconnect, you have to go into the menu and select disconnect. And probably most egregious, it appears support for Mavericks has been silently dropped. You can connect, but the screen wont ever update. Frustrated with this update is putting it mildly. Time for me to explore other avenues.
