Chrome Remote Desktop App Reviews

The update on 4/1/18 greatly improved the app. However the remote machine is still vulnerable during connection session. I’d like to see windows authentication integration and it would be the perfect RDP app.

Im finally impressed google, since you updated the app with a long waited audio support feature, it really catches up to the android version of this app! Thank you for adding the Audio Support for Windows and Linux Systems.

The program is no longer functional after a recent IOS update. The connection to the remote computer is static. Example: I have a spreadsheet open on my computer and I am connected remotely from my iPad. I want to type something new into a cell. I start typing and nothing seems to happen. I can only see the result when I stop sharing and then reconnect remotely.

Connects and controls, but cant see on phone what is changing on the computer.

This app used to be my favorite, using it to easily stay in touch with my computers when away from home. After updating my iPad to 11.2.6 the view when remote controlling never updates. Mouse and keyboard commands are still sent to my mac but I can’t see the changes, the screen does not update past the initial view.

There are new bugs where the mobile screen (iPhone) becomes non responsive while actions are going through on desktop (Mac)

This app would be perfect if it only ran sound through to my portable device. Its so close to being perfect but without sound I cant use it.

Why can’t we have an alt key !!! And other windows keys!! PLEASE?!?!

Used to use this a lot. tried using it again, set up a pin, got on my phone and checked dont check pin. Now it says I have the wrong pin every time and I dont know how to type it in again.

Love this app but would like sound to be a thing on apps. There is sound on desktop but not the app.

This app has been a blessing from God in my life. I use it all the time to turn off my computer or access documents when I’m not at home or even too lazy to walk to my bedroom. It’s amazing.

Please! Add iPhone X support the app is great and has not been updated in 2 years

App hasnt been updated for 2 years. When it works, it works. however there are times it’s very difficult to connect to my computer. Needs to be updated for iOS 11 and iPhone X.

I love this app. Works like a charm for helping my family with little fixes. My one complaint is that unlike using it on my Android or another desktop, there is no sound. I’d really like to be able to get that working.

Will not work with T-Mobile anymore onLTE

Would be nice if I could to a different app for a few minutes without this one completely bugging out and telling me I have no registered computers. Have to constantly restart the app to pull my connected device up again. Please update. This is an amazing concept. And google is capable of making it immaculate. Just put a little more time into it.
